I never really had a desire to start a blog until we got the life changing news that we have a little one on the way. Now I feel the urge to share our experience and provide our friends and family a forum to catch up on our lives and a watch our little one grow.
We just hit our 13th week of pregnancy and although I wish I could say I am feeling better – I’m not. I’m not sure if it was the baby or a bug but around week 11 I hit a bad spot. I am inching my way towards better days but it’s a slow process. The mornings are horrible – dizzy, a little sick and stomach pains. Thankfully, by the time I get to work I have shaken most of it. I eat consistently and drink a ton of water, both of which help a lot. But poor Adam – by the time I get home I am spent! I still walk the dog (3-4 miles) every evening but then I am pretty much couch bound until he tosses me to bed at 10 p.m.
But at the end of the long, sick, tiring day this is all worth it! We could not be happier to welcome our new little one into the world.
Julia,
ReplyDeleteSo glad to have found your family blog - loved reading about all your updates and experiences with the little one on the way and Henrik. We too are battling through the ups and downs of separation anxiety in our 1 1/2 year old puppy, Basil. Looking forward to following along. Best wishes!
xoxo,
Mary
